HUMAN INTEREST

HIGHLIGHTS
Pare graduated to the Canadian National Team from Quebec’s Excellence Program in 2009. Internationally, she competed at the Canada Cup, the KFC World Cup of Softball and the Pan American Championship last season. She then played at the 2009 Senior Women’s Canadian Championships, and was named an All-Star Outfielder as her Quebec Rebelles Team placed 6th. In 2008, she was the recipient of the NAIA’s Louisville Slugger Award, as a member of the University of South Alabama Jaguars. In her sophomore year, Pare’s softball team won the 2006 NAIA National Championship.

PERSONAL
Pare recently completed her Master’s degree in Exercise Science, and states defending her thesis in front of the board as her most memorable non-softball experience. She was on the Dean’s List from 2004-2006, and recieved the Sun Belt Post-Graduate Reward.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
Pare’s most memorable Canada Cup experience was the first time she played in a Team Canada uniform.
