Most Influential Person: my family
Who most influence your softball career: While growing up my best friend and I were highly competitive. Whether it was sports, or school, or anything that had a winner and a loser it was always a competition. Being in that atmosphere from a young age instilled the drive in me to be better and a thirst for the challenge of competition while learning how to win and lose graciously. It also made the transition to playing at the higher levels easier because I was accustomed to that atmospere.

What does it mean to Play in the Canada Cup?: It is a chance to play in front of a home crowd and show them, on and off the field, how much we love and appreciate their support.
Most Memorable Non-softball Experience: This experience wasn't on the field but I will never forget the night I got the call that I made the Olympic Team. I was so overwhelmed that I didn't really know what to say other than an emphatic 'YES'!
What in your opinion make a team a “Champions”?: The hours-upon-hours of work that each individual spends when they are not with the team to make themselves a fraction of a percent better than they were the day before, because they know in their heart that every other teammate is doing the same thing everyday.
