HUMAN INTEREST

HIGHLIGHTS
Hayward competed internationally at the 2010 Canadian Open Fastpitch Invitational [silver], 2009 Canada Cup in Surrey, BC [silver], 2010 and 2009 KFC World Cup in Oklahoma City, OK [bronze] and the 2010 World Championship in Caracas, Venezuela [silver], the 2010 Pan Am Championship [U18] in Bogota, Columbia [silver] 2009 Pan American Championship in Maracay, Venezuela [silver]. She played on the Mountain View High School softball team and was a three time De Anza League First Team selection and 2010 league MVP. Hayward also played with the Sorcerers Club Team, which won the 2009 ASA 18-and-under Gold National Championship. The highlight of the Canada Cup in 2009 for Hayward was hearing her name announced on the loudspeakers for the first time.

PERSONAL Hayward attends the University of Washington, where she played with Team Canada teammate Jennifer Salling in 2010-2011. She went to high school in Mountain View, California. She was also a member of the De Anza All League Soccer Team from 2007 to 2009.
