About the Event
The International Softball Coaches Symposium (ISCS) is an event co-hosted by Softball Canada and the Provincial/Territorial Softball Association where the event is held.
The goal of the International Softball Coaches Symposium is to provide you, the Coach, with the most up to date training and instructional techniques presented by some of the world's leading international coaches to raise the level of softball knowledge among softball coaches across Canada. The International Softball Coaches Symposium also provides you with an opportunity to interact with coaches from across the country.
The previous International Softball Coaches Symposium was held in 2014 in Mississauga, ON in conjunction with Softball Ontario’s Get in the Game Symposium. For the first time, the 2014 symposium offered two streams for the different level of coaches. A Community Coach stream was held on the Saturday only and the topics covered applied to those coaching in a more recreational setting. The topics for this stream were directed to coaches with NCCP Level 1 or Keep Coaching (Community Sport – Ongoing Participation). The Rep Coach Stream was directed at Level 2 or Competition - Introduction coaches going to provincials that lead to Eastern/Western Canadian Championships and/or Canadian Championships.
