Softball Canada is extremely pleased to announce a new and exciting partnership with Tim Hortons as the new title sponsor of the Tim Hortons Learn to Play Program. Under the terms of the new four-year agreement, Tim Hortons will help Softball Canada grow the program throughout the country.




Softball Canada is pleased to announce that the Canadian Men’s National Team will play an exhibition game against the Hill United Chiefs – one of the world’s top club teams – followed by a Team Canada Red/White exhibition game on Friday, June 13th in Ohsweken, ON.
 




Mark Smith represented Canada internationally as a member of Softball Canada’s Senior Men’s National Team from 1979 to 1994 and was inducted to Softball Canada’s Hall of Fame as a member of the 1983 Pan American Gold Medal team in 1997 and later as an Athlete in 1999. He coached within the Men’s National Team program from 1996-2009, and has been the Head Coach of the Women’s National Team program since 2009.

Softball Canada is pleased to announce a series of Regional Identification Camps for the Junior and Senior Women's National Team programs in 2014 in preparation for the 2014 ISF Senior Women’s World Championship and the 2015 ISF Junior Women’s World Championship. The camps will take place in Brampton, ON, Cloverdale, BC and Saskatoon, SK.




Softball Canada's National Teams will be competing in various events in 2014, including the 2014 ISF Junior Men's World Championship in Whitehorse, YT, the 2014 ISF Women's World Championship in Haarlem, Netherlands and the 2014 Men's Pan American Championship in Parana, Argentina. Coaches will disagree with calls! That is stating the obvious! It isn’t a case of “Will it happen?” but rather a case of “When will it happen?” As a coach you have to be prepared.  There are several basic rules of working with a situation where a call has not gone your way.
