Game C8 of the 2011 Senior Mens Fastball Championships featured Kitchener [8th] vs Owen Sound [6th] with Kitchener winning 13-1

 

Todd Martin started for Kitchener and recorded the win going 3 innings giving up 1 hit 1 run and struck out 4. Andrew Phibbs relieved Martin going 2 innings giving up 2 hits 0 runs and 4 strikeouts. Andy Skelton started for Owen Sound but got touched up going 1.1 innings giving up 5 hits 7 runs and 2 strikeouts. Matt Leahy came in relief going 1.1 innings giving up 6 hits, 5 runs and 1 strikeout.

 

Dale Levy had 2 homeruns and 4RBI to lead the offensive attack for Kitchener. Allan Phibbs also launched a 2 run homerun in the victory. Andy Skelton had the lone hit for Owen Sound which was a solo homerun in the bottom of the 1st inning.

 

The win for Kitchener moves the into the semi final game where they play Quebec in what should be a high powered offensive game. The loss eliminates Owen Sound from the tournament.
