Game 28 of the 2011 Senior Mens Fastball Championships featured the Quebec [3-3] team vs Owen Sound Selects[3-3]. Quebec wins the game 19-8 in 5 innings.

 

Darren Zack got the win and went 2.1 innings 8 hits 8 runs and 1 strikeout. Greg Garrity relieved him giving up 2 hits 0 runs and 2 ks. Matt Leahy got only 1 out in the 1st then was relieved giving up 5 hits 5 runs and 1 strikeout, Andy Skelton, Jamie Simpson and Luke Leahy all pitched for Owen Sound in a losing effort.

 

Mattieu Roy had 3 his and 5 RBI in the win, Steve Savard had 3 hits and 3 RBI also. Brad Robinson had a homerun and 2 RBI for Owen Sound. The game was a wild one thats for sure with Quebec scoring 10 runs in the first, Owen Sound answered with 5 in the bottom half.

 

With the win Quebec is 4-3 overall and is 2nd place and will play tomorrrow at 8:30pm. Owen Sound now drops to 6th place and will play Saturday.
