Montreal has a great public transporation system. But in order to get to the Ile-Perrot Complex, you will need to drive.

 

If you are flying to Montreal, you can easily rent some vans at the airport. The main hotel is the Quality Suites in Pointe-Claire that is only 10 minutes away from the airport. A free shuttle can take you to the hotel and vice versa.

Should you want to go downtown Montreal to sightsee, there are a few options.

 

First, you can drive, it`s about 15 minutes from the hotel. Parking downtown will cost you between $5 and $15 depending on the time you will be going. What you need to know though is that Montreal is a big city so if you are not used to French road signs and traffic, you may want to take the 747 bus that is leaving the airport almost every 10 minutes and will take you straight downtown. The price to get on that Express bus is $8 per ride.
