Gaem 25 of the 2011 Senior Mens Fastball Championships featured Quebec [3-2] vs Port Elgin Blue Devils [2-3] as Port Elgin wins 3-1.

 

Scott Smith recorded the win as he went 7 innings gave up 5 hits 1 run and struck out 8 batters. Greg Garrity took the loss for Quebec as he went 6 innings gave up 4 hits 3 runs and struck out 8 batters.

 

Steve Savard gave Quebec the lead in the 1st innings with a RBI single but that is all Quebec would get. Ryan Whitney had a solo homerun, Mike Rieley had a RBI double and Daryl McKinnon had a RBI single for Port Elgin.

 

With the win Port Elgin moves to 3-3 on the tournament and will play agian tonight at 6:30pm in a big game for them vs PEI. Quebec is also in a must win for double life as witht he loss they move to 3-3 and will play Owen Sound at 8:30 tonight.
