Three Straight for New Brunswick!

Game 16 of  the 2011 Senior Mens Fastballl Championships featured Softball Quebec [3-1] versus New Brunswick [2-2] with New Brunswick winning the game 3-0.
 
 
Justin Schofield threw 6 shutout innings to record the win giving up 3 hits and struck out 3 batters. Brian Newton secured the win in the 7th allowing 1 hit and struck out 3. Greg Garrity went 6 innings gave up 3 hits 3 runs and struck out 8 in a losing effort.
 
Jeremy Tracy blasted a two run homerun in the 1st inning for New Brunswick. Rene Goguen also added a solo shot for the winning team. Matt Greer had 2 hits in the loss for Softball Quebec. Greg Garrity had a questionable 2 run homerun called foul in the 3rd inning.
 
With the win New Brunswick has now won 3 in a row after starting 0-2 and are now 3-2 and will play again tonight at 4pm vs the winless Kitchener Hallman Twins. The loss brings Quebec down to 3-2 and they are off for the rest of the day and will play tomorrow at 2pm vs the Port Elgin Blue Devils.
